The girls got a clean bill of health and a full round of shots today at the doctor's office. The tale of the tape showed Miss Julia way out in front on the growth chart: 90th percentile in weight and length. Miss Ella was at a petite 50% weight and 75% length. The place Miss Julia really showed her power was in the post-shot crying department. Even the doctor was impressed. Miss Ella just called her a crybaby.

Hmm I forsee the day when Ella gets referred to as the "youngest sister of all"....she'll be mad at first, wanting to be the big sister... then when she's my age, will get a chuckle out of fooling everyone and being thought to be the youngest twin. (I speak from old experience having once been thought to be the youngest, however, wrinkles and grey hair don't cut it anymore, now people think I'm Pat and Eileen's mother...Pat has no wrinkles at 61 but I sure wouldn't trade my wrinkles for her form of face lift)
