Bike Ride!

When Miss Alana came over to spend the night Mike decided it would be a good idea to take her back by bike. So >100 lbs of girls got into the cart behind Mike and off they went. It was a cool day for August, only 92F, but still got pretty hot in the back because the top was down to keep the sun out. A half-way stop at Sonic was planned to get some lunch and some ice cream to cool down!

The girls slept the last 30 min or so. Their house is at the top of a hill, the girls didn't even notice when I got off and walked them up the summit. And the cart nearly fell over backward when I got off the seat!

Minnesota picture

Miss Lauren rode with her cousins thousands of miles up I35 to Minnesota. Daddy flew up there to get her, and in thanks Miss Lauren drew this picture. Just about the whole family is represented!

Lauren was a trooper the next day, getting up for the 6am flight.

Miss Ella started walking last night, so for the official scoreboard we'll go with July 15th. (Miss Julia walked on May 22nd). Of course we weren't here when she did it, her first walks were for the babysitter!
